On Sunday August 24th, Grappling-X hosted its first annual Youth Gi World Championships, at Lincoln High School in San Diego California. Some of the best kid and teen grappling competitors from multiple cities and countries hit the mats with both gold medals and custom championship belts on their minds...

On Saturday July 19th, Grappling-X will host its first liquidation sale inside Rock Fitness located at 24305 Prielipp Road suite 107 in Wildomar California.  There will be prices on gear and equipment that are far below retail.  As you can imagine, an organization that has been in existence since 2008 has acquired many items useful to martial artists, fighters and martial arts instructors.  Well now everything must go.

Also there will be multiple vendors selling their wares at discounted prices.  Do not miss this rare opportunity to purchase the gear you thought you could not afford or get that gift for the martial artist in your life.  See you on July 19th!

Operation Grapple returned to the SoCal stage on June 8th with one of the quickest turnarounds for the OG staff in history.  The sister organization to Grappling-X is quickly making a name for itself with its quality of events and competitors.

Congratulations to Carlson Gracie Team Murrieta for winning the top team award of the event.  Outliers Jiu-jitsu took second with Carlson Gracie Team Menifee picking up third.  It was a great day for grappling competition and OG will be back later this year with more exciting action.

On Sunday May 4th Grappling-X hosted its annual spring event, the West Coast Gi Championships in San Diego California.  This is one of the largest grappling events in Southern California.  Competitors from all over the region came out with guns blazing.

Congratulations to Paul Silva BJJ/Carlson Gracie Team for taking the grand champion team award!  Paul Silva BJJ also won the top kids team trophy with Art Of Jiu-jitsu and Outliers BJJ taking second and third respectively.

In the adult divisions Gracie Humaita South Bay fought their way to the number one spot with the Jiu-jitsu Foundation taking second and Paul Silva BJJ again representing well in placing third.

We want to thank everyone who came out, both competitors and spectators.  We thank you for your patience and your continued support as we work tirelessly to improve our events and your experience at them.

In what could be one of the largest Grappling-X events to date, the May 4th tournament at Lincoln High School in San Diego has already exceeded expectations as far as preregistered competitors.  Do not wait to get in this event.  This will be the one tournament the BJJ community will be talking about for the rest of the year.

Also, if you are under the age of 18 this will be the last GX Gi tournament in San Diego before the Youth Gi World Championships in August!  See your competition now so you can take the belt home three months later!  Remember, all Grappling-X matches will be recorded and uploaded to the GrapplingXTV channel on YouTube for absolutely free viewing!  Get you Gi and get on the train!
